Please can anyone read the occupation of John LIDDELL on this 1841 census
Piece:    301
Book:    7
Folio:    21
Page Number:    2

I think it is JN ??? Journneyman possibly but what
His father was a blacksmith and in 1851 he was a coal merchant

There's another example on the following page, which looks like Inst.

Could it be short for Inspector?

In 1851 he may have been a Master Joiner

Thank you but I think he is more likely to be this one in 1851 born Prudhoe which is in the same parish as Wylam
HO107 2404fo 607p95 this one is a coal merchant.
it seems Liddell with all its variations is a popular name in the region
