In 1871, John is 24 yrs born abt 1847 and baby Ann is 20 months old.
That marriage would then seem a bit too early  ???

There is a fairly detailed tree - presumably yours Paul? It has baptism details for John in Oldcastle, Meath.

It looks as though you need a birth certificate for one of the children to get Anne's maiden name.

Suzard,

All the various census info is in the tree which looks to be owned by Paul. The main thing missing is Anne's maiden name so investing in a certificate or finding a marriage seems to be the way forward for Paul.

Worth a certificate then  :). Perhaps there were children before Ann. Paul perhaps got the marriage date from 1911.

I'm a relative beginner at this and I really appreciate the time and efforts. I'm not naive in thinking I can find out specifics but ultimately I guess I'd love to garner all the info and trace living relatives. Thanks all. The great reputation of Chesire folk is very accurate!

There are some ill researched trees on this family on A******y

Eliza White is put as a daughter

Think you really need to get one of the children's birth certs for Anne's maiden name .

And daughter Mary -was she Mary or Mary J - there is another Mary Brown b c same time so an extra name could be helpful to make certain you have the correct Mary
