Hello, I just came across this website after searching for Cashin Of Patrick. My Fathers grandmother was born on the IOM. Her genealogy comes from Cashin Of Patrick. I Have a Full Copy Of this book you are looking for. It is full of information, stories, pictures, family trees ect. I Believe you may be able to find a copy if you search www.worldcat.org/title/cashin-of-patrick/oclc/1340070 [/font]

If anyone is having trouble finding the Book Perhaps I Can see about getting Some copy's made, just let me know.  :)

Just saw your response.  I've not looked at that line of my tree for ages, but yes I would love a full copy. I think its quite a few pages - 371?.  Maybe you could find out how much it might cost to run off  a few copies.

I was blown away by all the info, you don't want to miss out on it. I hope to travel to the IOM some day. What a beautiful place to trace your family back to. Have you been there? I heard there was a program called operation Roots, I guess it encouraged descendants of the isle to come back and explore there heritage. I think that was in the  80s - maybe 90s ? Does anyone know about that ?

Hi Gladys,
Yes I have been there a couple of times, as the IOM is quite close and easy to get to from Liverpool, though I've not been for many years.  I'm not personally aware of Operation Roots, though I believe there has been some DNA surveys on the Isle.
