Hello im looking to find out the MI's on my 3rd great grandparents of Devon and Cornwall

William Elston born: c1809 Exeter, Devon Died: Feb 1878 New Bridge Gunnislake, Calstock, Cornwall

Elizabeth (Betsy) Elston born: abt 1819 Exeter, Devon Died: Oct 1890 Crediton, Devon

Firstly have you checked that headstones exists? For possible MI's at Crediton see http://genuki.cs.ncl.ac.uk/DEV/Crediton/
There are several churches/ chapels in the Gunnislake / Calshot area see http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/eng/Cornwall/Calstock/  Many families could not afford headstones and the grave was marked by a small wooden cross which usually deteriorated within 10 years or so which means that there may not be a headstone in place.
