Thanks for your offer Leslie, are there any Spence graves listed? I have 2 relatives  I know were born in Leightholm or Eccles-John Spence b. 1841 and Robert Spence b. 1844.
Maggie.

Hi Maggie,

Mary ann spence wife of thomas fisher 25/02/1902 age 80

christina spence27/08/1877 age 73

robert spence aug 1780

These are the only spences I know you didn't mention any of these but as there are only 3 thought i would give them anyway you might find a conetion to them as your research progresses.

Thanks Lesley, don't think they are related to the Spences I'm researching but I'll make a note of them for future reference. Thanks for looking! Maggie

Hi Leslie,
I am interested in the Creak family and I understand there are 3 in the Eccles burial place.
Perhaps one is Thomas Creak who died in 1849.
Any info would be of great interest. He was a farmer and he also owned land in Temple. It is a rare name in Scotland and all 3 are probably related.
My Great Grandmother X was a Creak from Temple.

Hi Maggie
Thank you very much for your reply.
I really dont think my Ralph Allan wishes to be found, I cannot find out anything about him other than he was a shepherd and married Isabella Swan at Eccles in 1787. Have not found any connection to the Allans you sent, just the ones at Birgham.
Once again thanks
John
