Thomas Jones & Family

I am trying to find information on the following family:

Thomas Jones born 1836 at Brewood, Staffordshire
Gertrude Jones born 1868 at Fenton Staffordshire
Sarah Jones born 1866 Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire
Sarah Martin b.1839 Fenton, Staffordshire.

Thomas married Sarah Martin in 1858.

I can find information on the family from the census 1841 to 1881.  After that I can find nothing after 1881 for the above people.

They also have the following children:
Harry James Jones b.1859 d. 1862
Charlotte Jane Jones b. 1870 d. 1871

They also had Annie and Edith but I have all the information I need on these two people.

I think something happened in the family as no one would speak or talk about Thomas' wife Sarah.

I cannot find them on any census after 1881 and have searched death records without any success.

Any information would be appreciated.

Hi, did they stay in the same area from 1841-1881? If so then you can try and search the parish records (like on freereg or IGI) and see if anything turns up there.

Or if theres no trace after 1881 is it possible the whole family emigrated? If so some sites show immigration records which may contain their names.
