Many, many thanks willow and Jackie.

Please, please don't misunderstand, but, I am at odds as to whether or not Reuben and Maria are the next line to follow for Samuel. Although as Trish has pointed out it is "likely".

I am 99.9% convinced that George and Hannah are Elizabeth's parents.

My reasoning with Reuben is (and I know not everybody will agree)
He was a Cordwainer (thank you willow) all other family members were miners
The naming of the children doesn't include similar names as in most other lines

I know I could be totally off with that thought pattern.

Would someone be so kind as to see if Reuben and Maria are on the 1831 & 1841 census for me. As if they are Samuel should be with them if, according to other census ages, he was born between 1827 and 1831.

Jackie, would you be so kind as to tell me if anyone else is listed with the Talbot's in that 1841 census as I have nothing else on her prior to 1851.

I neither wish to offend anyone or upset anyone, I just want to be sure.

CJ

Now looking at the other baptisms on FreeREG Reuben couldnt make his mind up what job to do

14.9.1823 St Martins Tipton Mary Ann parents Reuben and Maria occ Shoemaker
15.5.1825 St Martins Tipton Richard parents Reuben and Maria occ Labourer
10.9.1826 St Martins Tipton Richard parents Reuben and Maria occ cordwainer
04.5.1828 St Martins Tipton Samuel parents Reuben and Maria occ cordwainer
27.10.1830 St Leonards Bilston Richard parents Reuben and Elizabeth occ shearer

Looking at the 1851 census for Rueben the image is so faint you can hardly read it but I think it says iron Labourer
