Where in Denbighshire?

A bit of a long shot, especially due to the quality, but does anyone recognise this place.

I believe it is in Denbighshire and taken early 1930's.

I've a bit of your picture a bit (although it hasn't helped a lot I don't think).

Afraid not. The original is the same

The car was my g grandads. Seemingly they had a habit of stopping off at this place when they drove out to North Wales, allegedly

At a guess it says "Sun Inn" surrounding another word,possibly even "Temperance"?

If I've read the reg no right WM was issued in Liverpool.

Was hoping someone might recognise the village. As I said long shot.
