Wrexham Baptism- Harriet Thomas b. 1823 (1828)

Could anyone help me with finding the baptism of my ancestor Harriet Thomas.  I have no definite date but birthplace was noted as Waldeck Wrexham sometime between 1823 and 1828.  I have tried finding out which parish would cover the area Waldeck but cannot find any record of this place at all.  A local person may know where this is !!! 

Other facts known : 
- Her father was called John Thomas and his occupation Engineer

- She married Philip Crellin in Manchester in 1844

I hope someone can help as I seem to have come to full stop on this one.

I have lived in the Wrexham area all my life and don't recognise anywhere remotely sounding like Waldeck.

Where have you seen this on any record?

There is an 1823 baptism for Harriet Thomas,parents John(engineer) and Maria listed under Brymbo,no further abode given.

They may be the couple at Pentre Fron,Brymbo in the 1851 census HO107  2502  310 16

Wrongly transcribed ?, but it does look like Collin.

At the marriage Philip is a tailor. His father also Philip ,is  a coachman.
