Worth a look Carol. I found a Staffordshire record on there last week that I had been struggling to find elsewhere.

You might like to dig around to try to find out which records, where from, and how many, have been released. (probably not as many as the publicity would lead you to believe) I only have one from Staffordshire (that I know of so far) but she is not there - I suspect many are missing.  :)

There's some that they haven't covered all the records for a particular parish that staffs archives have. One parish there's no burials on for. No non conformist ones on , considering the amount of non conformist churches/chapels there is/ was in the staffordshire area is a big oversight.  I also hear a lot of sites count a marriage record as 2 entries I suppose it's not surprising really but something I had n't thought about. Also can I take this opportunity to mention freereg was due to update on the 28 th but will not be done until on or near to 18 th august due to testing the new server. What a bumper month that will be.
