It's still not clear what you are looking for except perhaps the family in 1911 census.

Going back to the start, the details you've posted aren't quite accurate. IGI (www.familysearch.org) lists:
1. John DIGNUM born 24 Aug.1871 Co. Meath
2. Thomas DIGNUM born 19 Sept.1873 Co. Meath
3. Laurence DIGNUM born 24 Feb.1876 Co. Meath (mother Kate)
4. Mary Agnes DIGNUM born 11 Aug.1878 Co. Meath
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

One of the extracted records (for John Dignum 1871) on familysearch states the parish of birth to be St. Mary's, Co. Meath.  Although the RC parish is in County Meath it borders county Louth and covers at least part of the town of Drogheda.

The town was (and apparently  still is) split between two diocese Armagh and Meath with section in each county. Originally these sections of the town were named 'Drogheda-in-Meath' and 'Drogheda-in-Oriel' (i.e. Louth)

see : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drogheda

Hi found a death record for Catherine Dignam she died 26 January 1886 in the workhouse in Drogheda.  I am wondering is there any workhouse records.  It says she was married maybe the husband might have re married

I dont know any details on surviving Workhouse records for Drogheda, but presume that the local library would be the place to check first.

There's a possible marriage in the right area, and at around the right time, on the Civil BMD Index for Catherine :

 Name: Catherine Weldon
 Registration District: Ardee
 Event Type: Marriage
 Year: 1870
 Volume : 7 / page : 373

(The registration district of Ardee is based in Co. Louth, and not far from Drogheda )
I dont see any cross-match to Thomas, but maybe his name was mis-transcribed. Given that the name Catherine Weldon is quite unusual, I'd say there's a reasonable chance that she's your Catherine.

Based on the extracted record details that aghadowey mentioned for the children - these are the references required to order a cert for Laurence, in case you wish to order a cert to see the full details :

 Name: Laurence Dignum
 Registration District: Drogheda
 Event Type: Birth
 Year: 1876
 Volume : 2 / page : 558

see the topic Introduction to Irish Records for details on searching the BMD Index, ordering certs etc

Hi i tryed everything.  I think the records for the marriages in St Marys In dROGHEDA MUST HAVE BEEN DESTROYED  in the custom house in 1921 the records for marriages before 1870.

I found a death cert for Thomas Dignam for Oct 1885 it says he was a Bachelor.  And his wife died two months later in the Work House buaryt says on her death cert she was Married.  She died the 26 of January 1886.  Does anyone know what this means.  Cause of Death:  GASTRALGIA 3 MONTHS
PERITONITIS 7 DAYS CERTIFIED.

On her death cert it dosent give her husbands name it just says Informant
Graveyard:         Relationship:   Householder
Parish:         Name:   Henry Duffy*
County:         Address:   Drogheda Workhouse

The same with this other death cert below.

Civil Death Record
Name:   Margaret   Dignan      Date of Death:   15-Mar-1886
Age:   2 Months      Parish / District:   ST. MARYS
Address:   Workhouse      County:   Co. Meath
Status:   Not Married      Denomination:   Civil Record
Occupation:   NO OCCUPATION      Sex:   Female
Graveyard      Informant
Graveyard:         Relationship:   Householder
Parish:         Name:   Henry Duffy*
County:         Address:   Drogheda Workhouse
Notes:

I am thinking since the father is not present at death for Margaret his daughter it must be him that died in 1885.  Could be this a case that they arnt married or it was just a mistake on Catherines death cert it said married not widow
