i have a james fawcett born 1889 newcastle i have his parents as
ellen j milor/milar b1867
william fawcett b1869
ellen and william married in newcastle 1887
i have been trying to find james birth but i have came across this

does anyone think this is relevant to james birth and why the change of names like this any help appreciated thanks

That looks like a Catholic baptism to me.

As Carol has said, St Dominic's is a Roman Catholic Church
