you stated in a previous post that your great grandad was robert kirk -son of william and harriet. robert kirk's brother -John is my great grandfather.

I am new to RootsChat, but have been working on my family history for some time.  the family mentioned in this thread is MY family, and I would be pleased to share info with others that are actively researching them.  William Kirk (b. 1763 Notts) to Jonathan Kirk (b. 1794 Everton, Notts) to Jonathan Kirk (b. 1836 Mattersey, Notts) to George Henry Kirk (b. 1876 Everton, Notts).  George Henry Kirk is my grandfather.

Thanks.  Yes I have all of that information.  I actually visited the church itself this past summer and have a photo of it if anyone is interested.
