He was 33 years and 92 days when he enlisted  dated September 1914

It is the correct marriage Gorton 20th September 1902

WOW! these replies are amazing & so helpful! thank ever so much. The marriage cert ties in perfectly with the war records & "Radcliff" the remarriage also ties in with the Pearson names I have floating around. It's all been so difficult - I was the only daughter, and dad died a few years back, so I am reliant on the help of guys like you in my searches - thanks - its very much appreciated :-) ♥ I will plod on now......
