Picture of Sheehan Headstone Kilcarrig Co Carlow, this headstone was right beside another headstone for Thomas Byrne, John Whelan and Margaret Sheehan.
Would love to know if anybody knows more about the connection between the Sheehans and Whelans

I've read your other posts in Whelan, etc. Looks like our families are connected,  Patrick Sheehan married Frances Watts(son) they had a son Richard 1825 (from whom I'm descended) a daughter Margaret who married Tommy Byrne (hence the son Tommy Byrne on the head stone) and a daughter Frances (Sept 1st 1831) who married a Whelan, she was the mother of Patrick Whelan  and John Whelan who married Mary Anne Dargan - the parents of the John Whelan on the stone you described
