There are some mentions of Robert and Daisy in phone-books but I can't view them.

Not sure what happened there, must have pressed the wrong button; I've deleted the duplicate quotes.

Now this is interesting; Daisy's notice in 2007 in The Daily Telegraph only mentions a son and doesn't mention Robert (deceased by then).  I won't put a link as the son and descendants mentioned are clearly still alive.

So two likely possibilities.  Either the daughter has died, or she wasn't Daisy's daughter but of one of the other wives.  Maybe.

ETA It's just possible that the daughter mentioned in the death notice is actually the daughter-in-law, as their names are very similar.

Perhaps you could contact Daisy's son ......he has a strong online presence.  You just need to look at her obituary !

How funny, so much interest in my grandfather so long after his death.  Did you find the answers that you were looking for?  He was indeed a much married man and he did indeed marry Daisy twice.  The daughter named in his obituary is his daughter but not Daisy's although Daisy did take her on as her own.

to the left of the screen underneath the info re the census you will see a small image of a head and should and to its right is a small image in green of a sheet of paper with lines.  That is the PM.  just click onto it and it will take you to another screen for personal messages.
