Susan Reed (bap 1812) the daughter of John and Tamasine (Williams) Reed marries Richard Paull Jan 1835 . In 1841 Susannah Paul is living with her parents John and Tamsin and Grace Paull age 5 born (1836) at Carthew.Wendron. (Grace is grand-daughter to John and Tamsin.)
The 1851 census shows Susan Paul age 38 ,a widow, still living with her parents at the same address. Then begins the problem- there is a grand-daughter Mary Paull age 25 and she is unmarried born 1826. Who is she?
I think  that Susan Paull marries Henry Roberts in 1858 and is living with him and a son called John born in 1851 but there is no sign of Grace/Mary Paull. In 1871 Susannah Roberts is living with her daughter Grace Paull  at the same address (Carthew  Wendron).  Grace's birthplace Gwithian 
In 1881 Grace born Gwithian is on her own and still living at Carthew Wendron.
Susan's name changes from census to census. Where is Grace /Mary Paull in 1851. What happened to John Roberts born 1851.
I have just found a Grace Paull born Wendron age 25 living inFrances Street, Kenwyn, Truro -a lodger .

I cant explain the Mary in 1851, maybe a enumerators mistake?

This may be Grace in 1851 given ocp in 1861;
Grace PAUL born c 1835, Gwithian, Cornwall, lodging with the Russells in Helston. Occp Drapers Assistant.

I looked at the census image on FindMyPast and it has Sussanah  Paull a widow age 38 and Mary Paull age 25
Next door is Henry Roberts age 50 -a widower. Mary must have married him. That appears to clear up where she met him.
I am surprised to see the marriage of Susan and Richard take place at Illogan although one of the witnesses matches a brother of Susan.( Susan all spellings)
Looking at familysearch I have found a Christening  8th Feb 1801 for a John Reed whose parents were John and Sarah. A long shot but maybe John was married before?
I haven't seen the Nicholas Reed and Thomasin Williams marriage.

Findmypast 1861 census has John Roberts the son of Henry and Sussanah Roberts born 1851 and he is 10 years old.

Added:
In 1851 Susan Reed was still Susan Paul but there is a marriage for Susannah Paull to Henry Roberts in the Sept qtr 1853 -Helston district.

The 1861 Census image on Anc show him as is age 19, Occp Tin Miner (underground)
Henry born c  1801 Wendron (Farmer of 15 Acres ) and Susannah c 1812 Wendron

Mary Paull age 25 in 1851 may be mistranscribed and be Mary Reed Baptised 1824?
Grace is working away from Home in 1851 so it is not her.
