Burial site in Hove for John Marsh
« on: Sunday 27 April 14 13:56 BST (UK) »
Hello,
I was wondering if some kind person could take a photo of my grandparents grave site.  I live in Canada so it is difficult for me to get there.
John Frederick Marsh, b Dec 1877 in Brighton, d March 1930 in Hove.  His wife Florence Adeline Marsh, b Dec 1888 in Hove, d 17 March 1955 in Portslade-by-Sea.  They were living on Stapley Road at the time of John's death so I'm assuming they are possibly buried in Hove Cemetery.
Their burial plot number is 222X section A.
I would be most appreciative of any help offered.

Hi Cein

Have you contacted the council who manage the cemetery to establish whether there is a headstone?

http://www.brighton-hove.gov.uk/content/community-and-life-events/deaths-funerals-and-cemeteries/brighton-hove-portslade-cemeteries

If not, please ask and let us know beofre someone goes off and possibly wastes a journey.

Thanks

Dawn

You need to check which cemetery it is as well as there are several in that area.

Hello again,
I have found the cemetery and the plot number for my grandparents John and Florence Marsh. They are buried in Hove Cemetery (South side) in grave XA-222.  If anybody is going there and could take a photo of their grave it would be wonderful.
Kind regards,
Cein

Have the cemetery confirmed there is a headstone?

I'm sorry but Hove Cemetery says that their records don't state if there is a headstone or not.
