Looking for Rebecca
« on: Thursday 04 October 12 15:26 BST (UK) »
I wondered if someone could help me find the marriage of William Boulton to a lady called Rebecca.

They had five children between c1836 and c1852, all born in Cottesmore, Rutland.

Thanks.

Hi,

Could Rebecca be his 2nd wife?

Is this William on the 1841, living in Cottesmore with possibly his parents and a wife called Elizabeth and daughter Martha?
Obviously there is no relationship recorded on the 1841 so the above is pure speculation.

1841 -
Francis Boulton 70
Martha Boulton 70
William Boulton 40
Elizabeth Boulton 30
Martha Boulton 5
John Soon 20
Arabella Bloodworth 15
All born in County

Then on the 1851, this time with a wife called Rebecca-

William Boulton 50 b. Cottesmore, Rutland, Publican & Farmer
Rebecca Boulton 39 b. Mkt Deeping, Lincolnshire
Margaret R Boulton 5 b. Cottesmore, Rutland
Elizabeth S Boulton 3 b. Cottesmore, Rutland
William M Boulton 2 b. Cottesmore, Rutland
Ann Wright serv 32 b. Mkt Derping, Lincolnshire

Living in Cottesmore.

Possible marriage of William Boulton -
q4 1843, Barrow Upon Soar Vol 15 Page 37
On the same page is a Rebecca Beech.

*William (c1801-10 July 1858).  This is Rebecca's husband.

Elizabeth (c1806)
Richard Fountain Boulton (c1809-1810)
Thomas (c1811-20 June 1891).  My 4x great grandfather.

The marriage seems to fit the time frame I'm looking at, thanks :)
