    I have tried England but no luck so i can only presume he as emergrated but can you suggest the best place to start i have never had to research any futher than Scotland and England as yet
               He seems to have gone some time after 1841

do you know where his parents are buried  i was thinking he might have gone to america  will keep  him on my look for list csc

Hello there!

Another descendant here. Heather already know me.

Happygirl, I thought I should share that I've traced 8 children for Joseph and Janet (Varry). Although, there are 2 Williams so I assume the first one died, he was only born two months after his parents married.

Heather, I'm still no further with Walter either. Although since we were last in touch, I have found out what happened to my great uncle Joseph Henry Rutherford, he died of meningitis when he was just 14 :(
