Family History Society?
« on: Saturday 10 May 14 12:42 BST (UK) »
Despite looking, it seems to me that this is a county which does not have either a county or town based Family History Society.

My interest was Bishops Stortford, luckily I have been able to get quite a bit of general info off the net.

Have I missed something?

Many thanks for that Romilly.

I think I may have found it some time ago (senior moment!) and was so disappointed at the site which really does not tell you much about their society at all.

I think I was spoilt by the Bath and Avon FHS site which must be one of the most comprehensive family history sites I have seen.  With lists of members interests etc. and more general area information as well.

 :)
