my heritage website
« on: Saturday 16 August 14 07:25 BST (UK) »
Hi,

Just wanting to see if people found the myheritage website useful in finding documents? Im currently using Findmypast and completely love it found a million and one things in it. but I still have a few gaps and looking at myheritage to see if they can fill in the holes? Ancestry.com was useless for me and unable to find anything.

if anyone could recommend a great site like Findmypast that would be awesome, im mostly after documents more so than transcribed copies.

thanks heaps :)

Have a look on their websites to see what records they hold. This way you can decide for yourself if the records they have will be useful to you.

I would keep in mind that sometimes the pay sites say they have particular records, and they do, but sometimes only limited numbers, so records are not complete. There should be somewhere on the sites that give you some facts and figures.
