Does it say "Australia" on the shoulder badge? The cap and lapel badge looks like the "Rising Sun" of the Australian Commonwealth Military Forces.

Yes it would say Australia on the shoulder badge.
I should have said in my title that Deniliquin is in NSW Australia.
