help to find father of joseph knowles

can any one help find father  of joseph knowles dob 1824 tebay orton his mother was elizabeth knowles dob 1786 shap i have elizabeth in 1851 living next door to joseph and family at cllergill westmorland and
1841elizabeth widdow  with son robert
i found marriage for elizabeth moss and george for dec 1821 orton but can not find any info on george as in birthplace or dob

No help with birth but there's a family tree with George death 1850 so he should be around in 1841 if this info correct  :)

It doesn't usually give status in 1841 - is it under the occupation column?

yes joseph is there son and i have parents marriage but nothing on his father
in 1851 census it says elizabeth is widow annuitis born shap
1841 elizabeth knowles 1786 westmoreland with robert 1826 age 15
gais gile orton te bay i think all there children were born orton

The 1841 has Elizabeths occupation as 'Ind'  ie.  of independent means - there is no mention of her being a widow though it is quite likely.

yes thats correct but with no husband just a son i thought george had died and then on 1851 census it confirms it
