John Currie & Catherine Sellars, Isle of Arran
« on: Wednesday 16 July 08 14:15 BST (UK) »
I am trying to trace John & Catherine from Kilmory, Isle of Arran.  My connection  is with their daughter Catherine, b 1837 I have no trouble with her.

I am having no luck finding any information on John and Catherine and their children.

Thanks,
Hanan

Hi Hanan

You might find Catherine's name is given as SILLARS - this is how many of the family spell it today.

Kind regards, Arranroots  ;)

What information do you have on Catherine Sillars as the majority of my Sillars are from the Tormore area of Arran. I have a Catherine Sillars born 1803 to John Sillars and Catherine MacAlister along with 6 unconfirmed and 3 confrirmed siblings.
