Margaret posted that a William Sharp married Mary Spridgen in Yaxley in 1812, so this may have been a second marriage for William, although he's not described as widower. A Sarah Sharp was buried in Hunts in 1808 but I have no further details. But Mary wasn't the mother of William born 1795 (subject to checking with Sawtrey parish register), nor of the other children baptised in Yaxley whose mother was Sarah.

Judging by the Sharp baptisms in Yaxley that Margaret found, William and Mary don't seem to have had children, perhaps not surprising as Mary would have been at least 46 when they married, judging by her age of 75 in 1841 which would have been rounded down to the nearest 5 below so she could have been anywhere between 75 and 79.

Everyone IS willing to help, that's why we're posting in response to your request for help. But particularly in a county like Hunts where so few parish registers are online, we need all the help we can get from you.
