Harold Edward Bellamy
« on: Wednesday 11 March 09 08:15 GMT (UK) »
Hi can anyone help me with this man?  He was born 1900 in Laughterton, Lincinshire.  I have information on his parents and siblings and him on 1901 census, after that he joined the RFC 1.5.1916.- contact address's c/o R Wilkinson Esq, 3 Fountains Court, Halifax and 93 Fox St., Stockport.  I've also got an address from my grandmother's address book at 'Montrose', Grove Park, Colwyn Bay.  Any information would be greatfully appreciated.
Annie

Hi Annie,
If this is the RAF pilot who was killed during WWI, then I might be able to help.
There were two men with this name living at the same time - often this leads to confusion.
Best regards,
Mike

If it is of interest to a family member, my research has led me to the person who holds Bellamy's military medals... I don't know if the owner is willing to part with them, but if it were important to a family member, I would be happy to initially act as a go-between to set up a dialog.
