BOATH HOUSE - employment records?
« on: Tuesday 31 March 09 15:23 BST (UK) »
Hello

Thomas MCKENZIE & Mary BAIN married at Auldearn 22 September 1827.  In the register it states "Thomas MCKENZIE lately House servant at Boath".  Where would I find any employment records, if they exist?

Thomas & Mary baptised their eldest daughter Elizabeth at Inverness on 12 May 1830.  Thomas was recorded as a house servant at Achnagairn then.

Any ideas for other lines of research would be gratefully received!

Hello, I am interested in knowing where to find Boath House employment/estate records too, for 1816 onwards.  My 3X great grandfather worked there and lived there with his family.
