RootsChat's position is that we cannot allow look-ups for the 1911 census either to be requested or offered. See http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=355486.0

Ance*try. com (or co.uk) are having a free access this weekend bank holiday, all you have to do is register, that cost nothing and they have all the 1911 census access. Alternatively if you need more time than a few days, you can go to most main libraries that have public computers with free library edition of Ance*try access to all census years and loads more info data - all free access. (Take a memory stick with you, to copy images on to it free !! from census -Ask the Library staff to show you how to do it ? if needed) (Ps - don't forget to take your memory stick out of the computer when you have finished)

In my opinion the marriage residence is not always the place of birth. Never forget Workhouse and overseers accounts records of birth
