Would you believe it! There's a marriage of Joseph Hadden in Guisborough registration district, North Yorks (which includes Redcar), in the Dec quarter 1865 where both the females on the page are Jane - Plant and Gandin/Gardin.

and likely the 1861 also;

1841 has a Wm Hadden and Eliza, both age 20 in Ramsey. He is a Ag Lab.

Thanks for all the help on this one. Just need to get a couple of certificates which should prove I have the right family. My main interest is Mary Ann HADDEN nee UREN who married a BENNEY before her marriage to HADDEN. I thought UREN was an unusual name till I looked at some Cornish registers!
