Hodge of Airth
« on: Wednesday 14 September 11 16:46 BST (UK) »
Hi, I have:

James Hodge b. 1821 stirling according to census = Eliz Brown 1846 Airth

i can't find his bap. SP has 9 children for Robert Hodge & Jean Malcolm in Airth (trees on A* give these parents) but NOT James. there is a John bap same date as given - 4 feb 1821.

IGI has also submitted birth for same date /parents.

i have his marriage & children etc but not 1841 census for certain. (Robert & jean died before 1841 census so this wouldn't help if they are his parents)

can anyone confirm please or offer alternative.

Have changed heading to Stirling rather than Airth as good look at census has stirling only and realised i put married Airth when it was Alloa!! sorry

one i found is
4/2/1822 Labert, stirling  James Hotchkis s/o John & helen McDougal

know its not Hodge but nearest i've found!

might see if James Hotchkis is on census at all.
