muldowney swineford county mayo

Hi everyone thanks for reading. Im giving myself a huge headache trying to trace back my grandmas side of the family. Grandads has gone way back but i dont have much info on grandma.
She was born in 1914 in swineford
Bridget muldowney
Came to the uk
Married my grandad in 1941 in edmonton (no idea why here)
And lived in barnsley until she passed in 1994
But i can find no record of her birth or parents .
Can someone please advice on what to do next ?

First may i ask how you know she was born in Swinford you must have some paperwork for this,however in the meantime Family Search Civil Register shows birth

vol 4 page 331
if you apply for this birth cert you will get her parents names and address,then we could find census for them and marriage of parents etc.

Strangely enough there is only one Muldowney family in Swineford 1901/1911 census at a place called Cloonfinnaun no 23 1901 and no 6 1911 there are 4 children one is Patk age 8 1901 and as Pat age 17 in 1911 just right for marriage around the time of Bridgets birth, however this is not conclusive till you get her birth cert.

Thank you and yes i did also see the census and thought hey ho ive cracked it. But cant get anywhere on patrick either so shall  get a hold of her birth cert to go forward.. (or back !)

just note this for reference purposes there is an Anthony Muldowney married in Swineford in 1911 cant find him anywhere in Ireland on either 1901/1911 census,Family Search shows only one birth in 1871 for Anthony Muldowney making him 43 at time of Bridgets birth if right man possibly in Durham in 1901
