Hi Skibbgirl,
I have been trying to find marriage of CORNELIUS FORDE ,father of JOHN FORDE who married MARY RING 2/2/1872 ,and of course parents of Cornelius if possible ,i would think they are from CORK as the children are ,

I think this could be him.
Born 1838 cork ,married HONORAH HANLON 20 jan 1866,they had 4 children,
MICHAEL   Bn 8 dec 1866.
JOHN        Bn 28 jan 1870.
JUSTIN     Bn 10 nov 1871.
ANNE       Bn 16 sept 1876.
CORNELIUS,s father if i am right would be MICHAEL FORDE .
Any more info or correction,s i would be grateful.
