Kate Alice Richards born 1875 Bristol, married Horatio Nelson in 1895 Bristol.

May born 1898 Bristol

Kate Emily born 1900 Burnham Somerset
Beatrice Nellie born 1902 Burnham
Frederick born 1904 Burnham
Raymond Denis born 1909 Burnham
Lorna May born 1914 Burnham.

On the 1901 census May age 3 is living with her parents and siblings in Burnham, can find nothing more.  No birth reg on FreeBMD. She is not with her parents in 1911 and as the last child's middle name is May wandering if she had died.

Any help would be appreciated

Have you considered her being registered as Florence May in 1897 and living away from the family in the later census? Edit -Sorry looks like may be another family

Found a birth reg on ancestry for a May born 1896, so thought maybe Haratio and May were twins but no, one reg in July the other Oct.

Looking at a Evelyn May born 1897, all the siblings had second names so why not May?

If May was a nickname there is a Comfort Marjorie born 1898 I can't see in the census?

Edit - Based on the later census none of their 6 children had died at the time

No go with Evelyn.   Cannot find any entry for Comfort, looked for a marriage on FreeBMD but I expect she would of been called Marjorie by then.

No just looked on familysearch, Comfort's father was called Richard

If Martha Maria Rogers was Horatio's mother then I think the missing child was Florence May and she was lodging with her grandmother in later census.
