Looking for Archibald Taylor b. 1877 Saltcoats, parents Duncan Taylor b. 1835Saltcoats and Marion Campbell b. 1844.
Wife Janet Draper, last known address Clincart Road, Glasgow.

Have you looked for his death on Scotlands People?    www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk

What year was he at Clincart Road?  What year was their last child born?

When did his wife die?  Is he mentioned on her death cert as living or deceased?

His father was a seaman - was Archibald also a seaman?

Have not looked for his death as yet, do not know when he died. On the 1911 census they were living at Clincart Road, and it has Archibald at the age of 33 years. And his wife at 30 years of age so that would make her birth year about 1880/1.
And they have a 1 year old son also called Archibald so that would make his birth year about 1909/1910
I do not think Archibald would be a sailor, I might be wrong but his older brother John Campbell Taylor did not follow in fathers foot steps, after the terrible death of their parents and youngest brother ( they drowned at sea ) that must of put him off.
