2, Union Street, Campbletown
« on: Saturday 07 December 13 12:18 GMT (UK) »
Can someone help me with some information on the above address please.

I am seeking to find out what type of property this was during the late 1940's and

early 1950's.  Particularly the year 1949.

Was it a private home or a commercial premises.

many thanks.

Ian,

Looking at the location on Streetview, it would appear that the address is a three storey, stone built tenement property with commercial/retail premises at ground level.  Possibly four separate homes taking access from a common close.  Houses may be/have been denoted as 2a, 2b, 2c etc.

Regards,
Istrice

Thanks  Istrice.

I must apoligise for my lack of attention to detail.  I gave you the name of

Union Street, when it should have been Union Place.
