Yes, the children ended up living with there aunt. Who was their mothers sister, Janet Campbell.

Peter Taylor b. 1833 -d.11 Jan 1883 at sea, he was a captain of the ship Loch Eck. It was only a couple of days from London when he died on board.

He was married to Susan Marr b. 1837 Leith Edinburgh, d. 1913 London and they married in Australia on the 20 Nov 1855

They had 9 children the 3 or 4 born in Australia.
