Unable to find Marriage Date

Hi Henning,
I am confused and this was the reason I ignored the Edward with Thomas/Margaret nee Cheney.
Also your Edward named a Daug Ellinor (Ellen in 1851 Census);
Also Edward/Elizabeth from what I can see dont name Children Thomas/Margaret?

Well Trish these naming patterns of children are and can be a useful guide but they are just that a guide.There were no hard and fast rules though and I have quite a few historical instances where parents names were not used.

Again I have some ancestors who almost alternated every census year from lead to coal mining.Its not significant though,in these areas there were both coal and lead mines.

Hi,

Thanks for that - I was unaware of Sem/Shems baptism until that, so I have at least managed to add that in!

Here is the tree I have on the Tatums which already covers quite a lot of this plus a few things which took more meticulous research. Most of these findings do fit together, but as for the marriage date, I think I'm going to have to either approach the record office in Flintshire or alternatively put a post on the off-chance that someone else may already have a copy of the index.
