I'm unsure whether he re married. I have not got a marriage cert for the two. So im making guesses on the children as many of their names are after their family member eg Rosina Jane, Laura. (which i now know for sure from parish records.

Tried using children names without success  :-\

He may have remarried to Mary J Jones

However - that doesn't help to find him in 1911 but does confirm that he was still in the Monmouth area

Again, doesn't help re 1911 but in case you don't have this.... Charles George Channing was baptised on 11 June 1884 at Holy Trinity, Newport. Parents Charles and Harriet. Charles was a stevedore of 42 Castle Street.

Is this saying that Charles George and Harriet were the parents of those children? I thought they were the grandparents? Or did they have children late in life?

Klb16 said Charles George married Laura Youngson in 1905.
