William Morgan of Monmouthshire, Wales
« on: Saturday 09 February 13 21:14 GMT (UK) »
The parish register for the marriage of William Morgan, Collier and Ann Williams, Spinster is dated 31 July, 1843 in the Parish of Llanhiledd. It indicates they were living at the "Six Bells" at the time of their marriage. Google tells me there was a mine named Six Bells but that it was after 1843.
Where or what is Six Bells and where they could be staying ?

Six Bells is on the outskirts of Abertillery, to the north of Llanhilleth (as per map).

Kelly's 1901 Directory of Monmouthshire mentions its location:
