Gilbert 1851 & 1861 Census

Hello

I have my relative David Gilbert (b c1836 Trevethin, Mon) in the 1841 Census in Trevethin with his father William Gilbert (c1803-c1875), mother Catherine (c1814-1878), brother William (b 1838) & sister Sarah (b 1840)

By the 1871 Census they were living in Blaenavon, Mon ... however, I can find no trace of this family in either the 1851 or 1861 Censuses

I know that William Gilbert married Susannah Edwards in the Pontypool reg district in 1858 & David Gilbert married Sarah Ann Hall in Trevethin, Pontypool in 1864

I've drawn a blank and wondered if anyone could help me find them?

Found Sarah Gilbert b 1841 Trevethin.
1861 census she is a servant at Blaenavon Mon

Isaac Edwards age 30
Catherine Edwards age 31
David Edwards age 38
Sarah Gilbert age 20

I am sorry but I cannot find the family even checked through their address of 1841 for 1851 and checked 1871 census for 1861  but not at either.
Although
David Gilbert b 1836 marries in Pontypool  in 1864 3rd qtr either to sarah ann hall or Eliza payne
they have a child? samuel Gilbert born 1865 pontypool 2nd qtr.
 Samuel with Grandparents William b 1803 and Catharine b 1811 ref 5313/11/16 upper lanover blaenavon
So they are there

David marries Sarah Ann Hall and their first (known) was Samuel

Strangely, although I've found William & Catherine in the 1871 Census with grandson Samuel, there's no sign of David Gilbert & Sarah 

I know they're there ........ but where
