Hi Everyone. I am coming to stay in New Ross for a week on the 10th May, to try to find new info re my Grandads parents or accept defeat. I know he was born in New Ross, roman catholic (have 2 dates of birth but believe date on his naval record correct at 10th October 1896 giving occupation as farm labourer.). I know (from relatives but hearsay) his father was also called Thomas Power, general labourer. Any advice as to where I can start and whether I can pre-book any appointments. I have read from previous posts of St Mary's Church? Also register of BMD but not sure if that is Roscommon or Health centre New Ross. Really would appreciate any help or guidance.
