Can anyone advise me of the religious denomination of St. Munchins, Limerick in 1831?

Thanks,

Appears to be catholic.
See http://www.stmunchinscollege.com/hist.html
And the founder John Young is listed here http://www.limerickdiocese.org/bishop.html#11.

Thankyou for the info. Sinann.  Do you know if there was also a St. Munchins church
in Limerick and was it also Catholic? My 2xgr.grandparents married there in 1831.
