Saich

I have a Joseph Saich in my family.  He married a Maria Meeson in 1840.  I cannot find him on any census un til 1871 when he is registered with his wife Maria and eldest son George.  My Joseph was a gun maker.  As far as I can make out he had two sons, George born c1849 and Henry (my great great grandfather) born c1851.

I hadn't realised how popular Seaich name was.  Spellings I have come across in my search for my family are Seaich, Saich, Satch, Sach, Such, Sik, Sayce, Saece etc.
