Are we related ?

Hello.
My Callaghan/O`Callaghans are from the border of Tipperary & Kilkenny (Fennor, Rathbeg &Urlingford area)

My ancestors-
#1  James Callaghan (b abt 1850) he married Bridget Armstrong (b abt 1850)

and their son -
#2  James Callaghan (b 1873 died 1947) he married Margaret Nolan (b 1879 died 1960) had siblings one son James  & a daughter Johanna born abt 1908 plus others

 and their son -
#3  James Callaghan born 27th May 1901 married 1929 to Margaret Coady/Cody born 16th Feb 1909 these are my Grandparents.

This information I have has been passed on by word of mouth & is all I have to date.
Any info on the above would be a massive help. Thank you Patzy C

Callaghan/O`Callaghan and Cody/Coady, Nolan/Nowlan, Grace, Mahoney, Armstrong, Grattan, Carter of Fennor & Rathbeg & the parish of Gortnahoe, Co. Tipperary.
Urlingford town & Urlingford parish. Co.Kilkenny. Ireland.

Also Hughes from Galway, Herward/Hereward and (O)Shaughnessy from Dooghta Clonbur, Galway Ireland.

Most likely birth for James
James Callahan( as spelt)
April June 1901
Urlingford,Ireland
vol 3 page 510

note he would have just missed the 1901 census as it was taken on 31st March 1901.

All the childrens births appear in Urlingford under the spelling Callahan.

James Callaghan born 1873 his mother born 1821 in your second post above would have been in her 50s at this time though not impossible where are you getting the different dates 1850 and 1821.

Noted similar pedigrees on Family Search giving a John Callaghan married to Bridget Armstrong from The Islands,Kilkenny.

I think these are the same family though they contradict their place of birth Kilkenny 1901 and Tipp 1911
Richard CODY age 30 at The Togher,Kilkenny in 1901
Richard COADY age 40 at 10 in Rathbeg,Fennor,Tipp in 1911.married 19 yrs 9 born 9 alive.
