Been searching a long time for history of MCGILL family from Dumfries in Scotland. Edward Gibson McGill married Elizabeth Rankin (both now deceased) had  daughter Helen who was born ?? 1911. Helen Moved to Alexandria/Balloch Scotland. Worked in the now defunct Tullichewan castle as a maid/servant.
Went on to marry George Diggens. she died very young after having 3 or 4 babies at the age of 23yrs. Anything on Helen, Birth date,brothers or sisters, etc would be much appreciated. ;)
