Great timing Ann

Thanx. I just found my GR Grandfather on the 1901 Scottish census at the local library and as it turns out my grandfather had another brother, which I'm pleased to find out. Included in the census is the civil parish which I was about to g**gle for and decided to look on rootschat first.

Ummmm! I'm still working on my Irish name, it's been months now.

I will check out your thread from yesterday right after my speed typing. ( I new I should have taking typing at school instead of being a tomboy and doing woodwork and engineering )

I love these parish maps! Very handy for the OH's Scottish ancestors.

That is EXACTLY what I need for England. Does anyone know if there's something similar for England? Not a new fangled one, an "olden days" one! (at least pre 1974, but preferably about 100 years before that!)  ;D
PS. I've already got that very colourful one from Genuki (not enough detail shown) and hoping for black and white (not fussy am I?  ;)).
