The boys pants seem very short for such early dates.
My O.H. was a little boy in the early 1930`s and his pants were down to his knees on photographs.
My lads were in short trousers in the late 50`s and early 60`s and their shorts were also long by comparison .
I`d say perhaps the mid sixties ,although the background does look as if it  was earlier.
They are lovely little boys, perhaps they had outgrown their pants  and that is why they seem short. Hope you get it sorted. Viktoria.

Cabinet cards went out of favour by early 1920's.
The boys have collar tabs on their shirts a style popular from WW1 & into the 20's hence the date I gave.

I thought their collars were ordinary soft collars and the boys were wearing tie pins underneath the ties which held the collar points  close together under   the tie.
Are you meaning the triangular points which turned over the tie on a stiff collar? I did not know children wore those.
But if that type of photograph was not used at the later date I thought then I must admit  I know nowt about it! Viktoria.

I think Jim 1 is right. Say 1920 - 1925. Fashion was for longer short trousers as time went on, until the 50's. I wore short trousers until about 1955, they were above knee level but longer than in the images subject of this Thread. Footballers shorts in the 50's were quite long referred to as 'short longs' or 'long shorts', no style whatsoever.
