Eldon Lane
« on: Wednesday 29 October 14 10:59 GMT (UK) »
Hi, my dads family all came from Eldon Lane, surname Hill, and i was wondering if anyone remembered the bakery in Eldon Lane which was apparently run by one of my gt uncles, cant remember if it was Arthur. I also  have several photos of my gt auntie Jennie with another girl, never knew who this girl was (shes not family as shes not listed in the will as a sibling etc) so wondered if i posted a photo if anyone could shed any light on her?

Eldon lane is a small village outside of bishop Auckland in Durham which is why I posted my message on the eldon lane forum.

Thank you.  I hadn't heard of it.  I'm reading your message on the full Durham section. :)
