1915 census
« on: Saturday 11 October 14 19:54 BST (UK) »
Hi
I have found the following family in Hoboken in 1915 but the site I was able to get into only gives their names, year of birth and name.
Would anyone be able to find more information on them please?
They were John Spence and his wife Mary, both born in Ireland
Their children Margaret and Lilian

However in 1930 they also had another Margaret bc 1914 age 16, Sophia bc 1918 age 12 and John bc 1920 age 10 but where were these children in 1915???!!!

They were born in Illinois on one site and New Jersey on another?!  So I am confused some! Can't find them in 1940 either except their parents and Margaret the first.

Look forward to any help, thank you

Hello Sandra and Genealiza

Many thanks for helping me with the census information.

Would either of you know that living where they did where they are likely to have been buried, what papers might have had Obits for them etc., please?

Did it mention an age for the brother Alexander in 1910 please?

Hope it's not pushing it, but would there be anywhere where marriages might be online as I haven't yet been able to find the marriage of John and Mary Woods c. 1895 or the marriage of Thomas Spence and his wife Martha c. 1925.

Thank you very much for your help, if you need any help please ask and if I can help I will try.  I hope I have hit the right "reply" button :)

Kind regards

Alexander was 34 years of age.

Reading the Hudson County Genealogical and History Society web - page it says  "Unfortunately we do not have the staff or the facilities to provide individual genealogy research help and cannot respond to these types of queries at this time  -  You are also welcome to post your specific genealogy questions on our Facebook Page so that others in the HCGS community may help you"

Perhaps that could be worth a try  ???

Hello Sandra

Thanks for letting me know.

I also meant to ask if you could throw anymore light on more information on the 1915 census as it only gives their names, year of birth and their address.  I can't remember where I found it, it was only last night but I forgot to write down the website address!  Must have been too excited at finding them!

The only child we seem to be able to find anything definite on is Margaret, we can't find births, marriages or deaths for definite on the others, or their own deaths, a few possible's that's all.

Thanks again
Kind regards
